Ireland's Ryan Mullen has claimed a superb fifth-place finish in the time trial at the UCI Road World Championships in Doha.
Mullen, who was 13th of the 70 riders named on the startlist, was the long-time leader until the favourites started to finish.
The Irish rider clocked 46 minutes 7.74 seconds to take his place as provisional leader, but it was Tony Martin who eventually prevailed as the German secured a record-equalling fourth title.

Martin, who matched Swiss ace Fabian Cancellara's achievement of four time-trial world titles, stopped the clock in 44:42.99 to follow up wins in 2011, 2012 and 2013.
Olympic champion Cancellara was absent ahead of his imminent retirement.
Belarus' Vasil Kiryienka, the defending champion, finished second in 45:28.04.
Spain's Jonathan Castroviejo was third in 45:53.90.
