Youngster Kueng takes stage at Tour de Romandie

21-year-old Swiss rider Stefan Kueng broke clear to claim victory on stage four of the Tour de Romandie.

The BMC Racing rider, who is the World Individual Pursuit champion, finished 38 seconds clear of Belgian Jan Bakelants.

Michael Albasini, who won stages two and three, finished in the pack, 52 seconds behind Kueng, to retain the yellow jersey.

Albasani is 20 seconds ahead of OGE team-mates Ivan Santaromita and Simon Yates and Team SKY's Chris Froome.

There were mixed fortunes for Irish cousins Nicolas Roche and Dan Martin.

Roche was in the main bunch to move up to 44th overall while Martin was 12:28 behind Küng and drops to 122nd place.
