Race leader Michael Albasini won his second stage in a row in the Tour de Romandie in Porrentruy, Switzerland.
The Swiss Orica-GreenEdge rider pipped Julian Alaphilippe of Etixx-Quick-Step by two bike lengths.
Italian Damiano Caruso of BMC Racing was third.
Nicolas Roche of Team Sky came in in the main bunch in 59th place and is 50th overall, while Dan Martin, riding with Team Cannondale, was 128th in the stage and is 114th in general classification.
