Eoghan Clifford has stormed to a second world title at the UCI Para-Cycling Road World Championships in South Carolina.
The Galway rider clocked one minute 47.46 seconds as he repelled the challenges of Germany’s Steffen Warius and Fabio Anobile of Italy to claim gold in the C3 road race in Greenville.
Clifford also triumphed in the C3 time trial on Friday.
Colin Lynch finished in 10th place in the C2 road race which was won by Colombia’s Alvaro Galvis Becerra.
