The second stage of the 2013 An Post Rás ran from Longford to Nenagh, a distance of 160.4km.

After leaving Longford the stage passed through Roscommon and Ballygar before the An Post Post Office sprint in Mountbellew, 61.5km after the start.

The riders then moved through Ballinasloe and Portumna and on to Puckane and Nenagh.
