David McCann held onto fourth overall after today's stage five of the Tour of Hainan in China.
Yet another bunch sprint settled the stage, with Bradley Huff (Jelly Belly) getting the better of Takashi Miyazawa (Meitan Hompo GDR) and Stefan Löffler (Giant Asia Racing Team).
McCann rolled in 38th and remains 43 seconds behind race leader Boris Shpilevsky (Russian National Team).
The 2.1-ranked event continues tomorrow with a 135.6km stage from Danzhou to Changjiang.
