Today's concluding sixth stage was won by Luca Paolini in a bunch sprint, with his QuickStep team-mate Nick Nuyens finishing safely in the main bunch in ninth, thus holding on to his yellow jersey. The Belgian led the race from start to finish.
Power was best placed of the Irish overall in 25th, 5 minutes and 20 seconds behind Nuyens. David McCann, who finished a fine 15th in the time trial on Saturday, was next in 46th place.
