Irish rider David McCann turned in a great performance when he finished third in the World 'B' Cycling Championships in Aigle, Switzerland.
McCann's teammate Brian Kenneally also put in a good performance finishing 14th from a field of 270 riders in the 150 kilometre race.
The result means that both riders will compete for Ireland in the Olympics in Athens next year.
