Following a number of strong performances recently where he rode to pave the way for high placings by his Navigators team-mates, Irish professional Ciarán Power yesterday placed an excellent seventh in the Ronde Van Drenthe in Holland.
The 2002 FBD Milk Rás winner bridged across to the front group on the final climb of the race, and then sprinted home to the fore of the 29-strong group of riders at the end of the difficult 202 kilometre event.
