The sixth stage of the FBD Milk Rás was raced in record time, an average speed of 31 miles per hour today. The stage from Dungarvan to Arklow was won by last year's Rás winner, Paul Manning, ahead of his GB Team mate Chris Newton.
Ciaran Power, who was is in breakaway group all day finished fifth, 12 seconds adrift and now hold the yellow jersey by four minutes and three seconds from Newton.
