The fifth stage of the FBD Milk Rás ended in a bunch sprint for the first time this tour as the race made it's way from Castletowwnbere to Midleton. It was won by Darius Rudniczki from Poland.
Chris Newton of England was second and overall leader Ciaran Power finished third. Power of the Team Ireland Stena line team remains in yellow, four minutes and four seconds ahead of Newton.
