Power set to lead Irish squad

There was a major boost for the Irish squad with the news that Ciarán Power will be will take a break from racing with the American Navigators team to head the Irish national squad in the 2.5 ranked FBD Milk Rás next month. Power has not taken part in the race since winning it in 1998, but with world ranking points now on offer and several professional teams due to take part, his inclusion is vital for Irish hopes.

Joining Power on the squad will be former World Junior Champion Mark Scanlon, former Rás winner Tommy Evans, Paul Griffin and Timmy Barry.
