Belfast's David McCann maintained his hold on the leader's jersey after finishing seventh in today's fifth stage of the Tour of Hakaido, in Japan. He is closely followed by fellow Irishman Paul Griffen, who finished second behind Holland's Jurgen van Pelt on today's difficult stage.
In Overall Classification, McCann heads Griffen by one minute and four seconds, while Paddy Moriarty is back in seventh with just two days of racing remaining.
