Cycling: Power finishes 18th in Belgium

Irish professional cyclist Ciaran Power has registered an excellent top 20 placing in the world-ranked Circuit Du Brabant Wallon race in Belgium. After finishing fourth place in the Tour de Lilliers last weekend, the St Quentin pro fared well against tougher opposition in this Belgian race to sprint home 18th.

Power came home in the same time as winner Robbie McEwen of the Domo-Farm Frites squad, who was followed by Janek Tombak of the Cofidis squad and Jean Delatour’s Lenaïc Olivier.
