Ireland Women are in fourth in the Super Six qualifying section of the T20 World Cup following a 39-run loss to Scotland.

Scots captain Kathryn Bryce starred with bat (30) and ball and sister Sarah top-scored with 47 from 31 balls as Scotland reached 160 for five in Kirtipur, Nepal.

Katherine Fraser also added 36 with Megan McColl's unbeaten 27 off 15 balls adding runs late on to push the total out of Ireland’s reach.

Kathryn Bryce struck off the third ball of their reply, bowling Christina Coulter Reilly for a duck and adding three more wickets as she claimed four for 21.

Ireland captain Gaby Lewis provided some resistance with 41 from 37 balls, but once she was bowled by Fraser, the innings subsided to 121 all out.

The win moves Scotland up to second.
