Cricket Ireland selectors have named two 15-player squads for the upcoming tour to Bangladesh in November.
The tour will feature two Test matches and three T20 Internationals (T20I).
Andrew Balbirnie will captain the test side with four players receiving their debut call-ups in Cade Carmichael, Liam McCarthy, Jordan Neill, and Stephen Doheny.
Carmichael has returned to full health after sustaining concussion playing for Instonians in the All-Ireland T20 Cup last month.
Gavin Hoey, meanwhile, is another uncapped player in the Test squad and has been called-up previously, but is yet to play the long form of the game.
Ireland were last in Bangladesh in 2023 when they played the first-ever Test match between the two nations, which the home side won by seven wickets. Ireland have played 10 Test matches to date, winning their last three.
Meanwhile Paul Stirling, who is also in the Test squad. will captain the T20I side as Ireland takes a step closer in its preparations for the 2026 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in India and Sri Lanka.
Tim Tector comes back into the T20I squad, while Ben Calitz retains his place after featuring in his debut for Ireland in the third T20I of the recently completed England series at Malahide.
Irish front line bowlers Mark Adair and Josh Little are back in the T20 squad having missed the recent games against England at Malahide while Graham Hume is dropped
