Kevin O'Brien's quick-fire 60 helped Ireland to a seven-wicket victory in the second T20 international against Zimbabwe to level the series at 1-1.

The big-hitting opener shared a 59-run opening stand with Paul Stirling and went on to make 60 from 41 balls as Ireland chased down their target of 153 with nine balls to spare.

George Dockrell saw the hosts over the line in Dublin with 33 from 26 balls after their three-run defeat in the series opener at the same venue on Friday.

Shane Getkate returned superb figures of three for 20 from his four overs as Ireland reduced the tourists to 64 for five having won the toss and deciding to bat.

But a brilliant 96-run stand for the seventh wicket between Milton Shumba (46) and Ryan Burl (37) lifted Zimbabwe to a competitive target.

The third match of the series takes place at Bready Cricket Club in County Tyrone on Wednesday.
