Last week, Ireland cricket captain Andrew Balbirnie led an Irish side to a historic victory over England.
The final edition of a three-match series at the Ageas Bowl in Southampton saw Ireland secure a famous victory over the current world champions for just the second time, and also on English soil.
A week on from the result, Balbirnie and his colleagues have had the chance to reflect on the achievement and the need to repeat such feats as often as possible.
"It's a message I said to the group after the game: 'These are the moments you play for' and it's our job to do it as regularly as we can and make sure that we're in those winning situations as often as we can," he told RTÉ2fm's Game On.
Balbirnie cited a shift in attitude between the second and third matches as key to victory.
"We spoke about [attitude] and it's one thing speaking about it, but we managed to put it into action in the game," he said.
"There were periods in our first innings where the game was getting away from us and we managed to pull it back.
"So it was huge credit to the group and to finish a long enough tour like that was very pleasing."
Importantly, the win was a stepping stone in the efforts to qualify for the 2023 World Cup.
"One of the main goals for us is to qualify for the 2023 World Cup and those games last week each had 10 points to go towards that so that was huge for us," he said.
"Look, 2020 has been a massive year in terms of what's gone on in the world and the lack of sport but when we have had those chances to go out and play, we've put in really good performances and performances that reassure that we're going in the right direction and for that World Cup down the line in T20 and then the 2023 World Cup in India."
While domestic cricket commitments are on the horizon, the schedule is otherwise bare internationally until next January.
"That's the most difficult thing is that we haven't had a lot of cricket but we've had a good year," said Balbirnie.
"We've won three games against teams we historically haven't beaten. So what you want to do is build on that and play as often as possible straight away from that momentum.
"But the other edge of that sword is we've played well whenever we've been given the chance in a sporadic period."
