Ireland emerged from a dramatic finale to their match against Scotland with a one-run win and overall victory in the T20I Tri-Series.
Scotland, chasing a target of 187 in Malahide, required 15 runs from the final over, and three with one ball to go, or two to take the contest to a super over.
They fell just short as only a single was registered before Craig Wallace was run out by Ireland captain Gary Wilson.
Kevin O'Brien had top-scored for Ireland with 63 as the hosts made 186 for nine after being put in.
Scotland's reply of 185 for six included 76 from skipper Richie Berrington, who struck five sixes and seven fours in his 43-ball knock, and an unbeaten 66 from Matthew Cross.

Ireland finish the series with 10 points, Scotland eight and third-placed Holland six.
Batting stalwart O'Brien paid tribute to the bowling attack.
"The bowlers stuck their hands up. Craig Young and Dave Delaney bowled brilliantly out there," he told RTÉ Sport's John Kenny.
"Those two guys deserve a special mention.
"It's always good to win a series and always good to beat Scotland. They're probably our closest rivals. You saw the relief from the boys when we won, to see how much it meant to get over the line.
"The young lads have come in with a no-fear attitude and it's freshened up the squad a bit.
"It's probably a format where we've potentially taken the eye off the ball three or four years ago in the search for Test status. It's difficult to compete in three formats, we've a small player pool as well. It's good to see the young guys come into this format and take the bull by the horns."
