The Ireland-Bangladesh Tri-Nations series ODI has fallen victim to the weather, with persistent rain in Malahide forcing the abandonment of the match.
The match was due to begin at 10.45am but wet weather intervened, forcing repeated delays. Eventually, the decision was taken shortly after 2.00pm to abandon the fixture.
Both teams will shares the points as a result of the cancellation, with Ireland set to take on the West Indies in Malahide on Saturday.
Ireland still sit bottom of the table, having lost to the West Indies by 166 runs on Monday, with Bangladesh then seeing off the West Indies by 8 wickets two days later.
