Ireland’s Seamus O’Connor has finished tenth in the Men’s Snowboard Slopestyle World Championships in Kreischberg, Austria.

O’Connor produced the best slopestyle performance of his career in the semi-finals and in doing so qualified with the second highest score, 90.33, for today’s final.

He finished with a score of 54.50 in the final, failing to reproduce yesterday's display, with USA's Ryan Stassel coming out on top with 97.50.

The 17-year-old is coached by New Zealander Sam Wilkinson and they have been working on a number of new routines since the Winter Olympics in Sochi last year.
