Captain William Porterfield has returned home from Ireland’s acclimatisation tour of Australia and New Zealand due to personal reasons.
Porterfield left the team’s camp in Hamilton and returned home yesterday.
Cricket Ireland will not be seeking a replacement for the remaining three matches of the tour.
