Cricket Ireland has confirmed that their tour of Kenya will go ahead despite security concerns.
The governing body of Irish cricket has been given assurances about their well-being on the tour and the squad will leave Ireland for Kenya on 8 February.
The tour includes a four-day Intercontinental Cup match, two one-day internationals - which are also World Cup 2015 qualifiers - and three T20 games.
After the Kenya tour the squad will begin a training camp in South Africa, before travelling to the UAE for the Twenty 20 World Cup qualifiers.
Only the top two will qualify for the finals which will be held in Sri Lanka in September.
Ireland fixtures and itinerary:
Kenya (Intercontinental Cup) -12-15 February
Kenya (ODIs) - 18 and 20 February
Kenya (T20s) - 22, 23 and 24 February
South Africa training camp - 25 Feb-10 March
UAE (ICC World Twenty20 Qualifiers) - 11-24 March
