Laoisman 'Plodger' is one of the youngest members of the RTÉ Sports family. To look at his angelic picture you’d imagine that he is only about 14, but in fact he’s a little bit older than that.
A big fan of the Laois footballers and hurlers, Pauric is also an admirer of newcaster Eileen Dunne, who it just so happens to also hail from Laois stock. Pauric can be found at greyhound and horseracing tracks around the country when he's not working; His favourite race of all time was Istabraq winning a third Champion Hurdle in 2000, and he has ambitions to become Taoiseach some day.
