From Tuesday 15 March RTÉ Radio 1 will carry extensive coverage of the Cheltenham festival with John Kenny and Robbie Irwin providing their insights and analysis of Racing's great National Hunt meeting.
All 27 races will carried live on RTÉ Radio with leading commentator Tony O'Hehir calling them all home, while Kel Mansfield is RTÉ's man on the spot in the Cotsworlds with the reaction of the Irish winners and losers.
On Tuesday 15, Wednesday 16 and Friday 18 March, John Kenny presents coverage from 1.00pm on Radio 1 Extra on DAB, Long Wave and RTÉ.ie.
The Mooney show broadcast live coverage from 3.00pm on FM, DAB, Long Wave and RTÉ.ie and, following this, listeners can join John and Michael at 4.30pm for continuing coverage of the Festival on Radio 1 Extra on DAB and LW 252.
On Thursday 17 March John Kenny presents a special St. Patricks Day Sport featuring the races of the day from 1.30pm - 5.00pm.
There will also be news from the course in Morning Ireland, Today with Pat Kenny, News at One, Drivetime, Sport at 7 and on RTÉ 2fm bulletins.
