The Pakistan Cricket Board has once again refuted media reports that the Jamaican police have asked for eight players and team officials to appear before the Kingston coroner in the Bob Woolmer murder case.
PCB communications director Dr Ehsan Malik said: 'We have had no such communication with the Jamaican police or authorities.
'Our position is very clear on this issue and if we do get any request from them, we will ask them to handle it on a government-to-government level.'
Zakir Khan, director of cricket operations, added: 'If anything had come I would be aware of it. But no-one in the board has any knowledge about this at all.'
Woolmer, 58, was found dead in his hotel room on March 18, the day after his Pakistan side had suffered a surprise World Cup defeat to Ireland which signalled their elimination from the showpiece tournament in the Caribbean.
