Jamaican police investigating the killing of Pakistan coach Bob Woolmer at the World Cup have received results of toxicology tests.

The 58-year-old was found unconscious in his Kingston hotel room and pronounced dead the morning after his squad's defeat by Ireland last month.

'We have received the toxicology report but we're not going to go public with it right now,' Deputy Police Commissioner Mark Shields told reporters at the Kingston hotel where Woolmer's body was found.

Shields, the chief investigator in the murder probe, said the toxicology tests would 'require further analysis and investigation' in coming days. He would not disclose any other details.

British detectives conducting a review of the investigation have delivered their findings to police but Shields, a former Scotland Yard detective, did not disclose what it found or recommended.

The former England batsman's death on 18 March shocked the global cricket fraternity and cast a pall over the World Cup.
