The Ireland team have released a short statement thanking all their fans for their fantastic support in Jamaica.
Up to 2000 fans made the trip from all parts of the globe, giving the team incredible backing in their successful quest to reach the Super 8 stage.
Ireland captain Trent Johnston said: 'We'd like to publicly thank the Irish fans who brought such a vocal and colourful support to the Caribbean.
'They were nothing short of incredible in our games in Jamaica, and the noise that they generated was definitely a factor in our qualification.
'The team recognise the tremendous sacrifice many have made to support the team, and thank them from the bottom of our hearts.
'It was a great boost to have so many present, not just from Ireland, but also from America, South Africa and Australia.
'I think it's fair to say we also won over the Jamaican public, and they backed us all the way.'
Ireland have now moved on to Guyana where they play England on Friday.
