Bangladesh claimed a 45-run win over Zimbabwe on Sunday in the first One Day International between the sides.
The Tigers managed 260 for nine off their allotted 50 overs with Habibul Bashar and Saqibul Hasan both making half centuries.
In reply Zimbabwe were bowled out for 215 with two overs to spare.
Bangladesh started well and put on 34 for the first wicket before Mehrab Hossain junior was first man out for 12 as Hamilton Masakadza took the catch off the bowling of Anthony Ireland.
A further 34 runs were added before fellow opener Shahriar Nafees fell for 34 to a run out.
Aftab Ahmed went for 31 when Masakadza took the catch of Elton Chigumbura's bowling.
But then Saqibul and Bashar put on 105 for the fourth wicket with the stand broken when Saqibul was caught for 68 by Sean Williams off the bowling of Gary Brent.
Another 50 runs were added by Bashar and Mohammad Ashraful before Bashar went for 78 when he played an Ireland delivery to Chigumbura.
Ashraful made 22 before he was stumped by Tafadzwa Mufambisi off Chris Mpofu.
Mashrafe Mortaza was Mpofu's next victim for one with Brent taking the catch and then Mushfiqur Rahmin went for one when he was run out.
Mohammad Rafique made three before he was bowled by Ireland for one and Abdur Razzaq (one) and Shahadat Hossain (nought) were unbeaten at stumps.
Ireland, with three for 41, was the best Zimbabwe bowler.
Zimbabwe lost Terence Duffin for two when he was bowled by Shahadat but Vusi Sibanda and Chamu Chibabha put on 72 for the second wicket.
Saqibul removed Sibanda for 47 but then came some excellent bowling from Mortaza, who took three wickets with Rahmin taking all three catches at the wicket.
The batsmen to fall were Masakadza (31), Williams (two) and Mufambisi (two).
Chibabha went for 57 when he was caught by Rahmin off Rafique. Brent was run out for two and then Chigumbura went for a feisty 46 with Mortaza taking his fourth scalp to finish with figures of four for 31.
Prosper Utseya went for six, caught and bowled by Razzaq, who took the final wicket of Mpofu for four with Mortaza taking the catch. Ireland was not out for nought.
