The ICC have confirmed that Ireland will now play South Africa as part of their World Cup warm up instead of Pakistan.
Chris Tetley, the ICC host liason officer confirmed: 'This is to rectify an anomaly that was identified in the original practice match schedule. The changes have been made with the agreement of all the teams involved.'
Originally, Ireland were due to play Pakistan in Trinidad on Tuesday 6 March, and then again in Group D in Kingston on St Patrick's Day. To resolve the issue, South Africa will now warm up against Ireland on Monday 5 March.
Ireland take on Canada in their other warm up game on Thursday 8 March.
