The Irish selectors have named a squad of 12 for the C&G clash with Sussex at Clontarf Cricket Club on Sunday.
The squad features Kevin O'Brien for the first time.
O'Brien, an all rounder, and brother of Kent wicket keeper Niall, is currently with the MCC Young Cricketers.
He replaces David Langford-Smith in the squad which played at Kent, with Shahid Afridi also missing, having returned to Pakistan to prepare for their upcoming Test Series in England.
