Andre Lange steered his Germany I sled to victory in the two-man bobsleigh competition of the Turin Games on Sunday, maintaining his country's iron grip on the spectacular sport.

Lange, Olympic four-man champion four years ago in Salt Lake City, and brakeman Kevin Kuske mastered the tricky Cesana track in difficult conditions with heavy snowfalls.

The Canada I sled driven by Pierre Lueders won the silver medal while Martin Annen's Switzerland I settled for the bronze.
