Ireland U-19s played Bangladesh in the final group match of the Plate Championship with the winners having the easier semi final draw.
After batting first Ireland could not find their batting form from the previous three matches and were bowled out for 141. A number of players got starts but could not go on and make a significant contribution. Captain William Porterfield was top scorer with 34.
In reply Bangladesh passed the Irish total in 30 overs for the loss of 2 wickets (143 -2) meaning that Ireland will now play Australia in the semi-final on Monday.
