Australia remain dominant in 4th test

Fast bowler Brett Lee halted England's counter-attack as Australia remained dominant in the fourth Test at the MCG today. Lee struck to remove opener Marcus Trescothick and was unfortunate not to claim the wicket of captain Nasser Hussain as England reached 97 for three at the close of the second day replying to Australia's 551 for six declared.

Having performed impressively on his Test comeback at Perth, Lee once again demonstrated the value of raw pace on a flat wicket by bowling speeds of up to 97mph during a fiery spell which almost earned Australia two key wickets.
