England fast bowler Andrew Caddick is to have more treatment on a back injury ahead of the third Ashes Test against Australia on Friday.
Caddick injured his back during England's defeat in Adelaide earlier this week, and has been receiving steroid and pain-killing injections since in a bid for full fitness.
"Tomorrow's going to be a very important day for Andrew Caddick to prove his fitness for the Test match. If he's 100% fit and can do a job for England then he'll play," said captain Nasser Hussain, who admitted that half of his team are suffering from an alarming dip in form.
"We've played poorly in the two Tests so you have to really start afresh on selection. There's only about half the side that warrant a place on form at the moment and therefore everyone else is in the mixer whether they've played one game or no games as long as they're fit."
