Zimbabwe have confirmed that their forthcoming tour of England will go ahead despite the on-going political unrest in their homeland. They are scheduled to take on England in two tests, their first ever with England, at Lord's and at Trent Bridge, before taking part in a one-day triangular which will also feature the West Indies.
The English Cricket Board's (formerly the TCCB) international teams director, Simon Pack, said 'All parties have agreed that the tour can go ahead as planned and we look forward to welcoming the team to this country later this month'.
