To be fair to Waterford I know they've played Cork a number of times in championship since they've come up to senior in 2015 - 13 times - and they've won one, but the most interesting thing is the one they won was in May this year [Munster championship].

I think they have that belief now, they got over the line in the semi-final [against Tipperary]. I give them a huge, fighting chance. They played Cork in Croke Park last year and it was only in the last four minutes that Cork overtook them, they have that belief, self-drive and motivation.

You get a team in an All-Ireland that hasn't been there in 78 years and hasn't won one; it's huge for camogie and there's a buzz around Waterford. To be fair to the girls, they have super players: the likes of Beth Carton, Abbyy Flynn, Niamh Rockett and Vicky Faulkner have been super for Waterford this year.

Cork have huge experience; 12 of their team have All-Irelands and the county are going for their 29th title, they were there last year and were beaten at the bitter end [by Kilkenny]. That drive and hurt should push them on and once the ball is thrown in, sentiment won't come into it.

Cork will want to win their All-Ireland and to be fair the stats for both teams have been fairly level. The Rebels are coming in under the radar with very little fuss about them. They are a strong team and in the semi-final [against Galway] their bench had a huge impact. They brought on five players and they scored five points. Cork won't be easy beaten.

My heart is saying Waterford but my head is tipping Cork, who might be that bit stronger on the bench. It reminds me of when we got to an All-Ireland in 2007 and we were playing Cork, who were going for a three in a row. That bit of hunger wasn't with the Cork team then that seems to be with them this year.

It will go down to wire and Cork will have that little bit of hunger and strength in depth to see them over the line.
