All-Ireland champions Cork continued their dominance in the Gala Senior All-Ireland Camogie Championship thanks to an impressive 14 point win over Dublin in very wet conditions at Pairc Uí Rinn.

The homeside laid the groundwork early in the opening half and goals in the closing ten minutes of the period from Jennifer O’Leary and Eimear Dillon ensured a 2-4 to 1-1 interval lead with Edel Reid finding the net for Dublin.

Cork firmly exerted their authority after the restart and tagged on six points to just two from the visitors, before an Orla Cotter goal two minutes from the end sealed victory.

Meanwhile Wexford returned to winning ways at Buffers Alley with a comfortable 11 point win over Galway on a 3-13 to 0-11 scoreline.

The homeside held a 2-5 to 0-9 interval lead thanks to goals from Michelle Hearne and Una Lacey with Veronica Curtin the scorer-in-chief for the visitors.

Top scorer Ursula Jacob secured victory in the second half when her 61st minute goal brought her tally to 1-5 and ensured Galway had no way back.

In the corresponding Senior B encounter, Galway held a slender 0-8 to 1-4 half-time advantage, but  Wexford took the initiative in the second half - despite conceding a Gemma Kelly goal on the restart - to finish 1-12 to 1-10 winners.
