Cork crowned camogie champions

Cork are the new All-Ireland senior Camogie champions after they defeated Tipperary by 4-09 to 1-09 in Croke Park today. Fiona O'Driscoll was the Rebel county's hero as she scored 3-02 of her sides tally.

Tipperary led at half time by a point but the game was won by Cork in the second half during a 30 minute period where they scored 3-04 to no reply from Tipp.

The win halted Tipperary's run to a four in a row of titles after their triumphs in 1999, 2000 and last year.
