Wexford camogie has been given a great boost with the announcement today that Martin Storey will lend his training expertise to the county's cause. Three times All-Star Storey is no stranger to the game as his daughter Ciara was a part of the historical Oulart the Ballagh side who captured the four in a row Feile na nGael Division 1 trophy, and his input is sure to spur the ladies on to greater things this year.
Manager Margaret Leacy, herself no stranger to success having won three senior All-Ireland medals with Wexford, revealed: "We are delighted to have Martin on board, it will be great for us." Leacy's daughter Mary will be a part of the team who will travel to Athenry on Sunday to take on Galway in the National League. Her second daughter, Una, who recently scored a massive 0-10 in the All-Ireland Junior 'A' Colleges semi-final victory over Portumna Community College, will line out with the Division 2 side.
