Former Kilkenny star Ann Downey has been appointed the new manager of the Kilkenny camogie team. The Cats have not won an All-Ireland title since 1994 and suffered a comprehensive beating by Tipperary in last year’s All-Ireland final, going down 4-13 to 1-6 to the reigning champions.
Meanwhile, the Munster post primary schools senior 'A' chamionship final between St.Marys Charleville and St.Patricks Shannon has been changed to Feenagh, Limerick at the same time of 2pm.
