Born in Scotland and raised in England, Jones breakthrough actually came in South Africa where he spent three seasons playing for Western Province and then Stormers in Super Rugby.
That form caught the attention of former Scotland coach Ven Cotter, who brought him in for his first cap in 2016, and he has become a key player in the last three seasons, part of a formidable centre pairing with Sione Tuipulotu.
Currently in his second spell with the Warriors, having spent one season at Harlequins in 2021/22.
