Paddy Donovan and Karen Chukhadzhian have both weighed in just under the 147lbs limit ahead of their IBF World Welterweight final eliminator on Friday night in Mannheim, Germany.
The duo hit 146.6lbs on the scales for a crunch fight which will leave the winner as the mandatory for the IBF belt.
The current champion, Belfast's Lewis Crocker, has beaten Donovan twice, and victory for the Limerick man could open up the chance of a trilogy.
Crocket is defending the belt against Liam Paro in June in a fight which was formally announced earlier this week.
Donovan, speaking a press conference before the weigh-in, said he has been treated very well by his hosts.
Ukrainian Chukhadzhian has made Germany his boxing home in recent years due to the war.
It leaves Donovan as the away fighter against a hard-punching 30-year-old who has suffered just three defeats in his career, two of which came against pound-for-pound world champion Jaron 'Boots’ Ennis.
The Limerick man said: "We're ready to get to work. We're here to put on a big show. This is a sink or swim fight and I for sure am not going to be sinking, I'm going to be swimming. I'm here to get the job done and move back to world honours.
"I fought all the world and I think this is one of the most beautiful places we have been so far. Everything has been absolutely perfect. We're excited to see the venue, get in the ring and see what the German fans are all about."
Donovan admits Friday’s bout could leave his career in jeapordy: "It's a very important fight for me and Chukhadzhian.
"The winner goes on to world honours, the loser faces a big drop. I'm not here to lose, I'm here to win. I'm going to give Chukhadzhian the fourth defeat of his career."
