Double Olympic gold medal winner Kellie Harrington began her comeback with an exhibition bout against the Netherlands' Chelsey Heijnen in Dublin on Tuesday night.
The 35-year-old retired following the 2024 Paris Games but in October announced her intention to return to the ring with the stated aim of fighting in the National Championships next month at 60kg.
Topping a bill that included Jude Gallagher, Jack Marley, Gavin Rafferty and Ava Henry, Harrington took on Dutch fighter Heijnen, who won a bronze medal at the 2022 World Championships.
The Portland Row boxer (below left) dominated the no-decision contest at the Round Room in the Mansion House in the city centre.

Speaking to RTÉ Sport ahead of the fight, Harrington said: "I really want to give kids from Dublin the experience of boxing in an iconic venue in the Round Room on a card with Olympians and world medalists.
"I just think it's going to be an iconic night for those kids boxing, and for all of us.
"I'm going to enjoy this, I'm going to have fun.

"I actually am going to smile at people I think. I want to enjoy it.
"And they're exhibitions so there's not that much pressure on, but when you're in front of a crowd things do change so we just take it step by step and see how it goes."
