Victories this evening for world champion Amy Broadhurst and Tina Desmond mean that Team Ireland has secured at least four bronze medals on a memorable day at the European Championships.
County Louth fighter Broadhurst, who is looking to add to the gold medal she secured at the World Championships in Istanbul earlier this year, moved into the light welterweight semi-finals with a victory over her Serbia's Milena Malovic.
Hard-hitting southpaw Broadhurst proved too powerful for her opponent, and the contest was waved away after one minute 19 seconds of the second round following successive standing counts.
Cork's Desmond completed a brilliant few hours for the team as she outclassed Hanna Ingrid Hede in the light middleweight class with a unanimous victory.
Earlier, Shannon Sweeney and Michaela Walsh guaranteed medals in Montenegro after both Irish fighters won their quarter-final bouts in Montenegro.
Sweeney dominated her fight with Slovakia's Nicole Durikova; the referee forced to give her opponent a standing count in the first. Another two standing counts in the second saw the bout ended early, much to Durikova's dismay.
It means guaranteed bronze for the Mayo woman, who could still improve on that with a victory in the semi-final.
That was followed by more quarter-final success for Walsh, as she saw off Claudia Nechita on a 4-1 split decision in the featherweight class.
It was the Estonian judge who gave a higher score to the Romanian fighter, but Belfast woman Walsh was able to land her punches and move quickly as she impressed the other judges.
There was disappointment for Carly McNaul, however, as she agonisingly missed out to Italy's Olena Savchuk on a 3-2 split decision.
