Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez become the first boxer to claim the title of undisputed world super-middleweight champion over night in Las Vegas.
The 31-year-old knocked Caleb Plant in the 11th round, meaning he had unified all four major belts - adding the IBF belt to the WBA Super, WBC and WBO belts - in fewer than 12 months.
The Mexican knocked down his American opponent twice in the 11th round, managing the first with a left hook before following it up with a right uppercut.
Plant was able to resume but a final flurry from Alvarez saw him finish the fight with one minute and five seconds of the round still left.
