Nico Ali Walsh, the grandson of Muhammad Ali, won his first professional fight with a first-round stoppage on Saturday night.
The 21-year-old middleweight floored opponent Jordan Weeks inside two minutes and won by a TKO with just over 60 seconds of the round remaining in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
"This lived up completely to my expectations," Ali Walsh told ESPN.
"It's been an emotional journey. Obviously my grandfather, I've been thinking of him so much. I miss him."
Three-time world heavyweight champion Ali, arguably the greatest fighter of all time, died in June 2016.
