Sister and brother Michaela and Aidan Walsh have booked their places at the Tokyo Olympics after victories at the European qualifiers in Paris this afternoon.

Michaela Walsh was an unanimous winner over Stephanie Thour to advance to the last four of the women's featherweight (57kg) competition.

Aidan Walsh beat Yevhenii Barabanov on a split decision in the men’s welterweight category (69kg).

Barabanov was fourth seed in the competition so the win was significant for the Belfast man.

Kellie Harrington and Aoife O'Rourke secured their places at this summer's Tokyo Games yesterday.

Emmet Brennan will have a box-off for a chance to go to Tokyo. Brendan Irvine has already sealed his place.
