Jason Quigley will fight Shane Mosley Jr for the North American Boxing Organisation middleweight title in California on 13 February.

The Donegal boxer features on the undercard of Joseph Diaz's IBF super-featherweight world title bout with Shavkatdzhon Rakhimov at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino in Indigo.

Quigley last fought in January 2020 when he scored a knockout win over Fernando Marin to take his professional record to 18-1.

"I feel more than ready for this fight," said Quigley. "I worked hard during lockdown and have kept ready to fight at any time.

"It has been a tough year for everyone in the world. I have kept working, kept sharp and kept ready to take the call whenever it came."

Quigley beat Fernando Marin in his last bout

With a title up for grabs, Quigley is eager to show his best form.

The 29-year-old said: "These titles are all stepping stones to where I want to go in this sport. I have to get in and take care of business.

"Shane Mosley is the next man in my way and I have to take him out to move up the ladder. I want to start making some noise in this division and I know I’m close to the big fights I want."

Mosley Jr, who hails from California, has won 16 of his 19 fights and beat Jeremy Ramos in his last outing in July.
