Katie Taylor has been named Ring Magazine's Female Fighter of the Year for the second year in succession.
The 2012 Olympic gold medalist became the pound-for-pound number one professional women's boxer in the world based on the publication's unofficial but prestigious rankings in November after comprehensively defeating Miriam Gutierrez to retain her undisputed lightweight world title.

The Ring's Female Fighter of the Year was established in 2017, with Taylor the first two-time winner.
It comes two weeks after the Bray boxer became the first person to win the Boxing Writers Association of America's Female Fighter of the Year award in consecutive years.
The 2020 Male Fighter of the Year was shared by Tyson Fury, who defeated Deontay Wilder in a February rematch, and unified lightweight world champion Teofimo Lopez.
